The Children’s church in Cornerstone Christian Ministry is a loving, safe and nurturing place where children get to know the Lord Jesus Christ, accept Him as Lord and Savior and grow in the Christian faith. The teachers help the children grow in faith, grace, love and discipleship. As the teachers  disciple the children, the children are empowered to disciple others.    We strive to do this by being examples to the children in our action, words and deed. We also pray for the children.

Infants to Toddlers

Psalm 78:4

We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done.

We lovingly care for this age group as we teach them the basics of God’s word through Bible stories, songs, arts and crafts.

Preschool to Kindergarten

Mark 10:14

Suffer the little children to come unto me,and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Through hands on activities, this group is taught the word of God.

First to fifth grade

Proverbs 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Starting from this age group, the word of God is taught in a more structured way.

Through Bible stories, songs and drama, the children learn about the word of God.

Sixth to Eight grade

3rd John 1: 4

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

The children in this group are exposed to and taught the word of God to enable them transition to the teenage years. They participate in fun activities, plays, dance, and are strongly encouraged to memorize the word of God.

Majority of the teachers in this age group are youth leaders in the church. The youth leaders help prepare this age group for the youth group which is the next level after children’s church.

Children’s Choir
